A New Addition & A Few Other Tidbits!

So, Lexi has been bugging us for a pet. I seriously researched everything from birds to bunnies to turtles...and beyond! I wanted something that would be mostly clean and easy to care for, but that the girls could play with too! My last thought ever was a cat. Those of you who know me well, know that I have allergies and the least pet I would ever consider would be a cat. But then...we saw this little girl and just fell in love with her. She is a pure bred Bengal kitten (cross between a leopard and domesticate cat). I read a lot about them online and found that they are more like dogs than cats! They even like to take baths and will walk on a leash!!!
Anyways, without further ado...her she is: Nittany Vassilaros

(Sean named her Nittany after the Penn State Nittany Lions.)
Here are few pictures of her spots.
The vet says they'll get darker and more prominent as she gets older.

Looking a little possessed...probably startled and tormented by the girls!!!

Hailey goes absolutely nuts over this kitten. She yells and laughs every time the kitten is within sight!!! She also loves to push her around the house in a stroller!

I cleaned out my old makeup and gave it to Lexi.
(I have NO idea what I was thinking!!!)
So here's her new look!
Believe it or not, she also had bright purple lipgloss on over the red. After wiping it off, she said, (and I quote),
"Mom, I rinsed off the purple lip gloss because I thought it was a little much!"

She wanted to show her 'winking pose.'

Hailey at the pool.
Since she's still crawling, I bought these knee pad things for her knees because she scrapes them up on the pavement. After putting them on, I realized she looked like she belonged in the 80's with a pair of roller skates on her feet and a boom box on her shoulder!!!

We had to block off the spa area, which she was not too thrilled about!

BUSTED!!!

Just catching a few rays...
