Just wanted to share some pics of the girls...
Here are a few I took of Ava being adorable!
Okay, so this is me "au natural." I put it in black and white to make it a little easier on the eyes!! Anyways, it's one of my only pictures with Ava, so I had to include it!!!
Geo Caching
(What you ask?)
So a great friend of mine (thanks Laura) told me about the coolest thing called Geo Caching. It's where people hide little things (usually in some kind of container...anywhere from a film canister to a Tupperware container), and then post the longitudinal & latitudinal coordinates online. Then others try to find the item by using a GPS or the clues included online and when they do they put something else in the container and sign a log to show that they found it. Anyways...it's great, especially with kids, to go hunting around your neighborhood and city. A lot of people take a picture with the item they found and keep a notebook of them. There are thousands of them all over the world. It's sooooo cool! I've really gotten into it.
Yes, it all sounded totally confusing to me too, until Laura took me to find one. So I later told Sean about it and took him to see the one she showed me. Lexi and I later went and found another one she told me about! Anyways, here are a few pictures of what I'm talking about. If you're interested in trying it out either email me or go to http://www.geocaching.com.
On our way...
Found it!!!
(Thanks again Laura.)
Found one more!
Lexi wanted to make a Candy Gram for her teacher's birthday.
(A Candy Gram is when you write someone a letter and use candy for some of the words.)
Her Candy Gram says:
Dear Mrs. C-
I hope you had a "Nutrageous" birthday that was filled with "Mounds" of presents! I went to the principal, Mrs. "Whatchamacallit" and asked her to give you a birthday bonus of "100 Grand" on your next "PayDay." Happy Birthday! Love and "Kisses."
Love, Lexi
Here's Hailey in her new Dora nightgown & slippies from Grammies.
She loves it so much that she even wore it to her therapy session that day!
She walks around saying, "bue-ful," meaning beautiful.
Here's Lexi in a shirt she got from dance. She loves to wear it because I once told her she looked so grown up in it. I think she took the term "grown-up" a little far when she came in my room this morning and said, "Mom, doesn't this shirt make me look like I'm like 16?"
