Zoomar's Petting Zoo

Today we went on a field trip with Lexi's class to a petting zoo. We had such a blast! Hailey literally went CRAZY...She absolutely LOVES animals. At first I was a little overprotective and didn't want her to get dirty, but I finally decided to relax and just let her be a kid. So into the bunny pen she went, into her mouth the dirt went, into her hands the bunny poop went...etc.
She enjoyed every last second of it!

Since I rarely get to be in a picture because I'm always taking them...I'll take what I can get, even if my girls aren't looking.

This picture reminds me of a preacher...

I finally convinced her to share a little.

Hailey: "I'll take that."

Mommy: "Oh, no, you won't!"

Hailey had enough of being behind the fence.

She wanted to get down and dirty with the best of them.

Hailey has now had enough of just petting the goats.

She wanted the true experience of what it's like to actually be a goat.
(Look closely at the back of Hailey's hair...it looks just like the goat's tail!)

By the way...It just about killed me to let her crawl amongst all those animals.

I'm quite proud of my restraint!

(Although I did shower her with Purell and change her clothes as soon as we got to the car!)

Of course, Hailey wanted to ride too, so Lexi gave her a little lesson.

We even got to meet Jesus!

Hailey could have stayed all day!

Mommy couldn't have.
