Hailey - Hospital Stay #4
A few pictures of Hailey in her latest hospital stay. She was there for a week, while they dilated her esophagus. It turns out that her spells of not breathing were caused by scar tissue building up in her esophagus AGAIN and therefore clogging it. All her food and saliva was pooling on top of the blockage and then flowing into her lungs causing her to be unable to breathe. They're going to re-dilate her esophagus every 2 weeks, then 4, then 6, etc. for awhile, until they feel that the growth of scar tissue has slowed down. She'll be going in this Thursday, June 28th for her next dilatation. As you can see, she was unaffected by the experience...as usual!
Grandma Lois & Grandpa Tony
Sean's grandparents came down to visit for a few days. They were able to see Hailey while she was in the hospital and then come over and have dinner with Lexi. As you can see from the pictures we all had a blast! Lexi loved the fact that Grandma Lois & Grandpa Tony were Grandpa Dan's parents (therefore making them her great-grandparents)!

It's me...Sandy from NH! You did an awesome job with this blog! I passed it along to Melissa so she could see your lovely family. I hope I am able to get out to CA this fall and see you all "up close & personal". I'll continue to keep Hailey in my prayers. God truly blessed you both with one special child. She's such a trooper.
