Hailey Update!

We have another GREAT Hailey update!!! You may wonder why the heck I would put that picture up, but it's because it shows MAJOR progress!!! Yesterday, Hailey got her G-tube out...as you can see, she's pretty stoked about it!!!!! If you aren't sure what a G-tube is, it's the tube that went into her stomach, which was about a foot long and as ugly as sin!!! We used to have to feed her through it when she was having trouble with the bottle. But she's been eating like a champ and the surgeon said her x-rays looked great (no scar tissue)! My Dad made the point of last night being the first night in her 5 months of life to sleep without some random tube coming out of her from somewhere!!!

She is doing so great! She is reaching and grabbing things now (including her G-tube!), which has been great because it keeps her more entertained. I can give her a toy and she'll play with it and put it in her mouth giving me enough time to run to the bathroom and back!!! She also rolled all the way over, from her back to her stomach, on Christmas Day!!!! Kim sat and encouraged her and everytime she'd get close we'd all start yelling, "Go, Go..." which would then freak her out causing her to roll backwards and have to start all over!! But, she finally did it and now continues to practice EVERY time we lay her down!!!

Anyways, she has been so AWESOME to have home!!! We absolutely adore her! We can't stop thanking you all for all your prayers, support, and love!!!
